OVERVIEW
Welcome to CareKeeper. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CareKeeper, operated by Elena Shevchik.
CareKeeper operates this online store and website and provides personalized products and related services (the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify.
By accessing our website, using our Services, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.
SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence or otherwise legally permitted to enter into a purchase agreement.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when placing an order, including your email address, billing information, shipping information and any personalization details required to create your product.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
SECTION 2 – PRODUCTS AND PERSONALIZATION
CareKeeper offers personalized Medical ID products, safety accessories, non-personalized products, and digital products. Certain products are created according to information and specifications submitted by the customer.
Product photographs, mockups and previews are intended to provide an accurate representation of our products. However, colors, proportions, positioning, engraving, printing and other visual characteristics may vary slightly due to screen settings, manufacturing processes and the nature of personalized production.
For personalized products, you are responsible for carefully reviewing all information submitted with your order before completing your purchase.
This includes, where applicable:
• names;
• telephone numbers;
• emergency contacts;
• medical or health-related information;
• allergies;
• conditions;
• medication information;
• addresses;
• identification information;
• spelling;
• sizing;
• colors;
• personalization instructions; and
• any other information supplied for inclusion on the product.
We produce personalized products based on the information you provide. CareKeeper is not responsible for errors contained in information submitted or approved by the customer, except where required by applicable law.
If you discover an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, but we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible once production has begun.
SECTION 3 – MEDICAL ID PRODUCTS
Certain CareKeeper products are designed to display medical, emergency-contact or identification information supplied by the customer.
CareKeeper does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any medical condition, and information or products offered through our store do not constitute medical advice.
Customers are responsible for determining what information should appear on a Medical ID product and for ensuring that the information supplied is accurate and appropriate for their individual circumstances.
Where appropriate, customers should consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding what medical information they should carry or display.
A CareKeeper Medical ID product is intended to make selected information more readily available. We do not guarantee that any third party, healthcare professional, first responder or emergency service will notice, scan, access, interpret or act upon the information displayed on a product.
Our products are not a substitute for professional medical care, emergency services or other appropriate medical identification systems.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
SECTION 4 – ORDERS
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase a product or service.
We reserve the right to accept or decline an order where permitted by applicable law, including in cases of suspected fraud, payment problems, incorrect pricing, product unavailability or an inability to fulfil the requested personalization.
Your order is accepted when we confirm acceptance and payment has been successfully processed.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it.
For personalized products, production may begin shortly after an order is received.
SECTION 5 – CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
We currently provide a short cancellation period as stated during checkout or in our Refund Policy.
If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us immediately.
Once personalization or production has begun, cancellation or modification may no longer be possible.
Any cancellation rights provided by mandatory consumer law remain unaffected.
SECTION 6 – PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Because CareKeeper products are made or personalized according to customer specifications, personalized products may not be eligible for ordinary returns, exchanges or withdrawal rights where applicable law provides an exception for customized or personalized goods.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
If a product arrives damaged, defective, materially different from what you ordered, or contains an error caused by us or our production process, please contact us promptly so that we can evaluate the issue and provide an appropriate remedy where required.
Products containing incorrect personalization resulting from information submitted or approved by the customer are generally not considered defective.
Returns, replacements, cancellations and refunds are otherwise governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
SECTION 7 – PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice.
The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed when the order is placed, subject to correction of obvious errors where permitted by law.
Shipping, taxes, duties, customs fees or other charges may apply depending on your location and will be displayed or handled as required.
You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information.
SECTION 8 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Estimated production and delivery times are estimates and not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery may be affected by carriers, customs procedures, weather, public holidays, peak periods or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If you believe an order has been lost, damaged or incorrectly delivered, please contact us so that we can investigate the matter.
Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer law regarding delivery, loss or damage.
SECTION 9 – PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products and to limit quantities or availability where permitted by law.
If we cannot fulfil an order after payment has been received, we will notify you and provide an appropriate refund where required.
SECTION 10 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the content of the CareKeeper website, including our branding, text, graphics, designs, photographs, product presentations and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to CareKeeper and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, modify or commercially exploit our protected content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
SECTION 11 – OPTIONAL THIRD-PARTY TOOLS
We may provide access to tools or services supplied by third parties.
Such third-party tools may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or practices of independent third-party websites.
Before purchasing products or services from a third party, please review that party’s applicable terms and policies.
SECTION 13 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
CareKeeper is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
However, purchases made through our store are transactions between you and CareKeeper. Shopify is not the seller of CareKeeper products.
Shopify may process certain information in connection with providing its platform and related services, as described in applicable privacy notices.
SECTION 14 – PRIVACY
Personal information collected through our Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Because our store is powered by Shopify, certain personal information may also be processed by Shopify and other service providers that help us operate our store, process payments, fulfil orders and provide our Services.

SECTION 15 – CUSTOMER CONTENT AND FEEDBACK
If you voluntarily submit reviews, comments, photographs, suggestions or other feedback to us, you represent that you have the right to provide that content.

SECTION 19 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CareKeeper will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the Services or products where such liability may lawfully be excluded.
We are not responsible for consequences resulting from inaccurate personalization information supplied by a customer.
For Medical ID products, we do not guarantee that emergency personnel or other third parties will see, scan, understand or act upon information displayed on the product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including mandatory consumer protections.
SECTION 20 – SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
SECTION 21 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and other policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services, subject to mandatory rights under applicable law.
DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Digital products are provided for personal, non-commercial use only, unless otherwise stated on the product page. You may not reproduce, resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or commercially exploit digital products purchased from CareKeeper without our prior written permission.
Digital products may be delivered electronically or made available for download after purchase. Refunds and withdrawal rights for digital products are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable law.
SECTION 22 – GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the business operator of CareKeeper, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply based on the customer’s place of residence.
Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of protections that cannot be waived under applicable law.
SECTION 23 – CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The current version will be published on this page together with its effective or last-updated date.
Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
